It also provides a data point to the QB depending on how the defense reacts - zone versus man.

And by the way, your post to me was condescending, so don't cry about it if someone is that way towards you.

I think our OL is pretty good. But the scheme asks a lot of them with the long developing plays. The play action pass down the seam was money. But we don't see much of that.

I think the scheme is fine. Just need AR to deliver the ball to the right spots. Probably need more quick plays, but AR has a tendency to hold it too long and scrambling.

I am not alone with some of my critiques about coaching irregularities and decisions on play-calling.
And I never said I known more than these coaches. So that's an interesting non-point to make.

Who cares...You're still negative, and you can't appreciate a struggling team going on the road and getting a win, no matter how bad the opponent is.

play man more and send pressure. Live with the results and trust that your secondary is better than the WR’s that Vandy, USCe, and FSU has

    This
The O seems more in sync with the quick hitters. It helps keep the D honest and opens things up. Why we don’t do it more…

I am so, so happy I was VERY WRONG....adjustments WERE made. Heck, looked like a different defense out there in the second half. Well done!

I agree completely. I would add that although A&M has been a disappointment they were ranked 6th in preseason polls and it was still a victory over an SEC team on the road in a hostile environment. I also thought that during the second half the defense played their best game of the season. Although they may have still had coverage problems they did an excellent job of pressuring the A&M quarterback and that was without Cox. Also thought that Richardson played well possibly his best game. He put up better numbers in some other games but that was not against an SEC team on the road (not counting Tennessee since we scored the last two touchdowns when the game was essentially out of reach).

I would agree that the motion does nothing if the defense is just ignoring it and not adjusting to the motion

I left home at halftime because I was sure with aggies getting the ball to start the second half, they would add to their lead. Went with a friend down to Lake Eola to The Fiesta in the Park. Exchanged a gator chomp with a fellow gator and had a beer at WOB. Finally looked at my phone to read this forum. I couldn't figure out what amount of time was left, but we were about to score, but didn't? Then I stopped looking. I think I helped by going down to the park and not looking anymore at my phone. You're welcome!

If they're in zone, there's nothing to adjust to.

TAM is good enough to take Bama to the wire. It was a pretty much dominant win wire to wire.

I was AGREEING with you. Quite a few of our play calls are odd.

Yes, that is true. I'm not sure why we seem to run out of steam in the last seconds of the half.
