We definitely blitzed more today. It seems like their QB got rattled for whatever reason and our DLine started to make him more uncomfortable even when they don’t get to him.

Hopefully this is that game that could help us turn the corner-kind of like the bama game back in the SOS era-that's the game SOS says helped the team build confidence

Amazing what a defense looks like when everyone has the same goal. It sucks cutting players but it’s obvious what the issue was. These guys were fighting for each other all game not as individuals.

Just win out-get a bowl game win-and that would make for a decent season-if the offense played like this against uk-that would have been a win-the defense played like the second half today-lsu and maybe ut-we were close there-

HT adjustments on defense. Coaching won this game. Jimbo gave up. FAH

Shemar played well in the flashes I saw. Will definitely be a good player at LB. Needs some running mates though.

Saw a different team today. Hope this is the start of turning the corner. It was good to see effective adjustments coming out of the half with the defense. Running game putting up stout yardage.

Napier mentioned turning the corner in the UGA game. It was just a matter of time before it started to click

Yep we got a glimpse of that in the 3rd qtr last week and again in the second half today. A tad more efficient and half a hundred would have happened.

I thought Fraziars had a terrific game today. Seemed to be open most of the game. Great TD catch.

I'm happy for the defense. They started to sustain some pressure, covered closer and challenged throws. AR played well today and it looked like he went through his progressions better. There was still some head scratching moments but I'll take this win. Hopefully, this will build some confidence for the remainder of the season.

But we don’t have a potent offense how is this possible?

Preseason I figured this was a loss, so I'm happy to get the win, offsets the Ky loss I guess. Still a shot at my preseason W/L record of 8-4.

Can the D play like the 2nd half 2 games in a row and can AR have a good home game.

Did I miss it already? No angry little man show after the game today? Steven A Russell?

I feel a lot better about the seminal game after watching this. I was starting to lose hope. If we can bring the second half defense with us. We should be able to smack them around

I had to run errands today that kept me away from TV, Radio, and the Internet.
What were the big changes on the Gator Defense?
Other than more blitzing, was there more Man coverage? Shorter drop backs? The D closer to the LOS? More swarming to the ball? Better tackling?
