This game showed us what Billy’s conception is like when every thing comes together.

I saw something different in the game, beside relentless effort on both sides of the ball. That illusive slant pass was attempted... that I like. The illusive defensive blitz showed just how important that tool is for the defense. And AR was given all day long to try and find a receiver, for the most part. And he was on enough times to win this game. No INTs is always a good thing.

I have to say that one AR TD run was sprung by our own #87 Odom... That was a nice block on the DB or Safety on the edge to spring AR loose for the long TD run.

Princely Umanmielen was a monster on the defensive side of the ball, and he played lights out.

And a special thank you to our two headed monster, our running backs, Johnson and Etienne played like 5th year seniors...

The best total game and most important win against an SEC team for UF in I don't know how long. AR deserves major kudos for his best total performance as a Gator, and the second half defense was a thing of beauty. Oh, and Billy and staff did some big boy coaching today. On to the chicken heads.

The only issue was the second half we had all those chances to ice it and couldn’t. We’ll have to work that out but what a great win!!

Will be interesting to see if Billy expands his offense significantly next year after 15 extra bowl practices and another spring. Seems we run a lot of the same plays every game. But it is the first year so you can only install so much. I'm not a fan of the WR running in motion behind the line on every play. Takes away one deep threat and brings another defender into the box. We scored 41 and should have had at least 51, so no complaints overall, but I think we'll need to be more dynamic next year to play with the big boys.

As for the defense, what a difference a half makes. Who were those guys? If we can get even one good half like that from our defense from here on out, we will beat everyone left on our schedule.

Really needed to run AR those two trips in the red zone when we got no points. All AR needed to do was fake the off tackle handoff and trot in around the end. The D pulled us out there by forcing 2 fumbles. That was huge and preserved our thin 10 point lead. Great to see our D finally step up in a big way

    Great defensive adjustments at halftime.

King couldn't handle the pressure. Princely in particular, was terrific.

"Half the distance" penalties often measured in low single digits.

False stats didn't help. Weird how one game we will have one penalty and then another game will have 7 or 8. Way too many false starts today.

Agree, but loud road game tends to get those type penalties

This was the game out of the last 4 that was the most likely for us to lose. TAMU was more talented and it was a tough road game, something our young team only had experience in Knoxville. A win here is great as it sets us up for winning our remaining games.

Can you imagine winning out and being 9-4? Yes, I’m gonna plant them seeds.

What a much needed road win! That was a hostile environment and I'm impressed with AR's management of the offense. He seemed to quit pulling the ball and running in the 2nd quarter when he could have run for 200 yards, but no turnovers. The defense kept us in this game. So, impressed with improved tackling and fantastic edge rushers! Great job!

I like Naquon Wright, but glad to see that Napier finally realized who should be getting the carries.

The defensive line was the difference in this game. It has pretty much been nonexistent all year, which is why every QB we play either starts their Heisman campaign, or looks like a Heisman QB against us.

    very good must have win.
