Of course, LeBron had to chime in with “he [Kyrie] hurt a lot of people.” He “hurt” a lot of people? That is familiar hyperbolic rhetoric of the left. While I don’t agree with or support what Kyrie did, that he actually “hurt a lot of people” is going too far with the condemnation. Especially for a fellow player. LeBron just trying to keep his advertisers happy. Kyrie is human and he is allowed to make mistakes. Hurting someone’s feelings is not a crime. Kyrie didn’t actually physically “hurt” someone.

It isn't ridiculous at all to think that.

The stars get calls because they usually get fouled. Players have gotten so skilled and crafty offensively it's nearly impossible to play defense unless they are having an off night. Think about what Jordan did to the Pistons and how they had to respond with the Jordan Rules. Most of these guys need a half step opening to get a good look.

Every team gets hosed every game, we caught a couple rough breaks in the UGA game but we still lose regardless.

    Just stop.

Everyone knows Kyrie is human, and if he owned his shit and apologized he'd be forgiven and embraced. The issue is Kyrie is continuing to double down.

And no it isn't a crime in the sense of the law, but it is a clear reflection of who you are as a person if you spread and double down on your beliefs of and continue to spread antisemitic conspiracy theories. He hurt people with his words...people don't just feel hurt physically.

Let’s be real, you don’t like Lebron to begin with so anything he said would have you crying.

In other words he's just being a typical right winger.

Wow. So your biggest complaint about all this is what LeBron said and not what Irving said?

I thought Kyrie did apologize?? Which is a big step for a personality like his.

LeBron runs his mouth on every social cause, because he knows the corporates eat it up. He’s smart in that regard. But he’s never going to convince me that Kyrie brought tangible “hurt” to someone with this. That’s just milking the social justice warrior angle, which he does all the time, because in the end, it means more endorsements for him.

So like I said, you already don’t like Lebron and just used this opportunity to trash him some more.

It’s a d-bag move when said fellow player has issued an apology, helped you win a championship ring and no known specific “harm” or “hurt” was actually done. I believe this is a big reason other NBA greats don’t put LeBron in the Top 3 players of all time. He talks too much and cares more about his endorsements than winning. You can tell other NBA greats don’t respect him.

Wow, LeBron is actually expressing outrage because other players haven’t spoken out against Kyrie. So much for that player’s union. What a schmuck! LeBron is actively attempting to destroy what’s left of Kyrie Irving. LeBron is a sick, egotistical, self-serving bastard.

Incorrect! Klylie is responsible for what’s happening to Klylie. MAGA types have a real problem with the concept of being held to account.

As an NBA fan, and someone who actually likes Lebron, I have my own grievances with him, and the NBA, for some of the comments made to disregard or remain silent on China's atrocities towards the Uyghurs and the pro-democracy protestors in Hong Kong (it took someone with courage like Enes Kanter to make that point, and not surprisingly, I dont think he is even in the league anymore) I remember saying something like Daryl Morey is "not educated" on the topic and shouldn't talk or something to that effect. You can't pick and choose human rights and disparate treatments of minority populations based on popularity contests but that's unfortunately the world we live in.

THAT said, Lebron did give a defense of Kyrie saying he does love him and that he did apologize.

I also disagree that NBA greats do not put him in the top 3. He statistically is superior to almost every one of them in every category, save for one or two. You may not like his perceived phoniness on certain issues, and I wouldn't challenge you on that, but as an all-time great, there's at most 1-2 players that might supersede him.

That's your "Top 3". I am talking about the NBA greats and there's no shortage of them who routinely exclude him from their Top 5 and especially their Top 3. LeBron is not a consensus Top 3 of all time player. Not with writers and players. With fans... well, fans will be fans and LeBron has been right in front of the fans for the past 20 years, but LeBron is not a Top 3 player.

LeBron is actively questioning why other players aren't slamming Kyrie. That's all I need to see. If nothing else, you're part of a players union WHICH YOU HAVE BENEFITTED FROM. He doesn't have to praise Kyrie, but dissing him and actually trying to get others to call him out too... that's trying to destroy someone, which defies the purpose of the player's union.

And yeah, LeBron has no shortage of skeletons in his closet. And last time I checked, I could actually come up with lots of instances of actual harm taking place in Chinese sweatshops. What Kyrie tweeted didn't harm a soul. LeBron is such a fraud and he stays quiet when millions are taken advantage of as slaves, all for his benefit. What a joke. LeFraud... anti-union, pro-slave labor camps to enrich himself..

LeBron is hands down at a minimum the 2nd best player of all time and everyone knows that. No one has ever had that hype becoming a professional athlete ever and he has surpassed the expectation. Guy is 37 averaging 24/9/7 in his 20th season.

And LeBron has skeletons, but man has he done quite a lot philanthropically. So him wanting other players to speak up or saying Kyrie's words are harmful (which they are) isn't an issue - everyone will embrace Kyrie again when he owns his shit.

let’s play this out. Why don’t you make a bunch of antisemitic comments. Why not? They’re not hurtful. Won’t cause any harm right? See how long you last. Go for it.

That is simply not true. If you asked MJ, Magic, Scottie, Shaq, Iverson, Payton and on and on, they would all leave LeBron out of their Top 2. There are actually several montages on YouTube of various legends indicating there's no way LeBron is better than Kobe, let alone better than Jordan.

And there are plenty of other greats that would put Wilt, Kareem, etc. in those top two as well. What's your point? Shaq, Iverson and other have held him in high regard:
