I would guess that half of the Ukrainian dead are civilians. All of the 80,000+ Russian dead are military. Greatly increasing numbers in theater just means that each artillery shell will kill more Russians. That's why the draftees are called "cannon fodder".
The period since WWII has been the most peaceful period in human history, based on the percentage of the global population at war. Which is fairly surprising, considering that the technology to kill people has advanced dramatically during the same time. One of the direct results of the global peace has been a steady advancement of the economies of developed nations, which would not be possible if wars were widespread.
80k seems on the high side but I really have no idea. Interesting how tough it is to get accepted Russian deaths. Which would then be 2-3x casualties.
I’ve already dispatched this Paul Bunyan type tall tale of Russian dead. 80,000 dead, along with presumably at least that many wounded, would amount to more than Russia had committed, to the theatre, until just the last couple of weeks. Set aside that Russia has not waged the campaign in such a way as to expose large numbers to fire. That’s what Ukraine does.

Since our light crude oil requires a different refining process than most of the refineries we have now should our government help pay for new refineries that will process light crude oil?

Why would Russia draft 300,000 people (11% of their military), creating massive disruption in Russia, just because 3% of their military was getting pushed around in Ukraine? Why would they not first increase their troops committed to 6% or even (*gasp*) 10%! Why would they bring in criminals straight from prison if they were not desperate? Where are the rest of the 97% of the military hiding? Are they guarding Siberia? If Putin really wants to achieve this objective and avoid humiliation as well as a possible coup, he would commit closer to half of his troops than just 3%. Why would new draftees be thrown into battle with less than a week of training, instead of putting them on a base for 3-6 months of training, so they might have a decent chance of survival, unless Russia was desperate for bodies on the front lines? Is Putin really that stupid? U.S. intelligence has estimated anywhere from 170,000 to 200,000 troops came into Ukraine during the initial invasion. They have satellite pictures, so the estimates should be fairly accurate. Estimates of killed and wounded are around 70,000 - 100,000 at this time. About 80,000 draftees have been brought into Ukraine already. What we don't know is how many additional troops were brought into Ukraine between the initial invasion and the introduction of the draftees in the last week or so. You can find many references to these numbers with a simple google search. We already know that Russia is having many of the injured soldiers treated in hospitals in Belarus, with doctors under strict orders not to talk about casualties. This is to hide the numbers of casualties. Wake up and smell the coffee, man! P.S. To further destroy your propaganda, Ukraine is becoming expert at guerrilla warfare. Small groups of Ukrainian hunter-killer teams patrol no man's land at night, pick up the scent of Russian cooking, and do recon on the Russian camps, and then return later at night and kill the Russians. Apparently, Ukraine is not exposing large numbers of their troops to enemy fire. If you are going to spread lies, at least try to make them believable lies, comrade.

Refinery margins on biofuels are higher than on processing oil due to ethanol requirements. there are two large refineries that the gubmnt could buy for cheap. Philly and St Croix USVI. Both need substantial capital investment to bring them up to speed. The military could run them and use them to supply their own fuel needs and take that demand off of the market and sell any excess into the US market.
