    He doesn’t even notice 30 million a year missing. It’s really chump change to him. Maybe he will just buy the top 50 players every year.

    This guy looks like a pretty good pick up if he can be pried away from Michigan. I can't remember the last recruit we pulled out of Kankakee IL, but there's a first time for everything.

    After wracking my brain for a bit, I finally remembered that we had an RB named Octavius Gould out of Champagne-Urbana (Chicago area) about a million years ago. He lost his job to some guy named Emmit Smith if I recall correctly.

    Thanks…had to look this up to figure out why I didn’t know this. Only PWO Nic Flynn played HS ball in Illinois. Both Chief Borders and Daejon Reynolds played HS ball in Georgia.

    I knew Flynn for sure because some of my daughter’s friends went to high school with him.

    I think former gator lb Antonio Morrison was from up here in northern Illinois too.
