We both know if your hero Trump and the Majority of Republicans that voted against certifying the election had their way, that wouldn't be the case. If you think I'll be shocked or upset with Republicans taking one or both houses, I won't be. I, and just about every rational person on this board, predicted there would be a backlash 2 years ago when the dems swept into power ...

I specifically remember saying the pubs would take 1 or both houses in 2022 when some right wingers here said there would never be a fair election again ...

 

Just because democrats saved it for 2 more years doesn't mean it's not threatened. It's clearly threatened by the former president who still refuses to accept the 2020 results and continues to use it as a divisive issue to rally his supporters and cause violence. It's threatened by the majority of republican congress people who also refused to accept the results and the will of the people. But most importantly, it's threatened by the republican voters with their heads in the sand who say things like "Democracy isn’t threatened and it’s all a big scare to get as many libbie sheep out to vote as possible."

 

Republicans before 2020 ... "Trump is a straight talker who tells it like it is. Fudge your feelings. If you don't like it, leave the country."

Republican after 2021. "Biden said mean things and hurt my feelings. Whaaaaaa!"

 

You're the ones dividing yourselves.

 

Law and order would come with reducing poverty. Inflation would be handled with holding corporations accountable....but yall don't want to hear that.

 

Have some self awareness. You are an extremely divisive poster, as this thread and the Fetterman/Oz thread show. If you were actually interested in uniting people you would behave very differently.
