This is what some have been saying in another more general coaching thread: I think it would be non-stop comedy with either Sanders or Kiffin . . . but recruiting would definitely improve.
Coaches Hot Seat 2022 2. Bryan Harsin, Auburn > If only Bryan Harsin called us a couple of years ago when he first heard from Auburn and asked us what we thought we told Bryan then > If you go to Auburn you are going to get your ass run in a couple of years, but you will make a pot piss full of money so that decision is really up to you Son! With Harsin scheduled to get something around an $18M buyout when Auburn fires him in a few weeks what can one say but Good job son
Good work if you can get it. Getting paid 18 mil not to coach. A guy could retire comfortably with 18 mil.
Well, I think Sanders would be an interesting and flamboyant choice who would crash and burn. Still don't believe Auburns power brokers would go that route, too big of a gamble. I see nothing funny about a Kiffin hire. Assuming he had free reign from the Admin and Auburns NIL money, I think he would kick a$$. Hope he stays at ole miss and beats Auburn every year.
Wow, this is hard to fathom… “Coupled with staff buyouts, Auburn has paid more than $45 million in buyout money over the last five years.”
Coach Neon at Auburn would be quite the side show. I would guess they’d see a quick bump in recruiting followed by lots of drama involving AU’s famously meddling boosters.
Yea, not a good fit. Deon needs to wait for something like FSU. I know a lot of y’all don’t like him, but I was impressed with him taking this JSU job and turning the team around.
He should take the golden carrot soon then,....55, gotta get the money and 'Ship's before the window closes. GO GATORS!!!!
