Election deniers are on top of the Arizona ticket running as Republicans for Senator, Governor, and Secretary of State. Why should I get over it. Especially if the Rs sweep the state I live in, all three have said they would refuse to certify an election that they disagreed with the results. How is this not Fascisms? And why does speaking this truth divide the country any more than what the election deniers are already doing?
Yeah, it all happened so long ago. Also, here is a video of him telling a Senate candidate to go stronger on disputing the 2020 election. From a week ago.
You're mistaken. Bluke assures you it's all in the past. So long ago that few people even remember it.
Questioning elections has happened many times in the past. Sure let’s keep talking about that. I’m sure this will help….no one. It’s just another talking point.
Wait a minute. When he's talking about election deniers, you think he's talking about half the country, about the entire right side of the aisle? I thought you said it was over and all of you moved on?
I knew you wouldn’t answer my simple question. You are no better than trump. You just enjoy the argument too much.
Bizarre that you think Biden’s criticizing a now-proven liar, who always knew that he was lying, about said liar’s attack on the fabric of our society, is divisive.
When was the last time in American history that election denial has reached this level? When was the last time, two years after the election, election denial was the central theme in so many midterm elections? And make no mistake, election denial is the central theme here in Arizona. What should the Ds do about all the election denial talk? Ignore it and hope it goes away on its own? Make peace in our time with the election deniers? Or do what Biden is doing. Confront the danger head on, and shine a light on what's happening?
Well, your side continues to regurgitate the election lies. Biden is very bluntly stating that democracy is under attack when the legitimacy of the core of democracy- the vote- is under attack, and all under false pretenses. That’s not divisive. That is fact. How would you describe the recidivist attacks on a presidential election 2 years ago, particularly now with the overwhelming evidence establishes without any doubt, that the attacks were entirely groundless and we’re made with the sole intent to circumvent the actual vote and will of the people?
You can’t seriously believe this. Trump continues to spit the lie, and his base continues to believe it. Look at the MAGA candidates running on that very premise.
Not the majority of the cons? While its one of the smallest states in the country, Wyoming is a prime example of a state in which the cons have not moved on. They defeated one of the most conservative members of the House because she had the audacity to question the legitimacy of the former president. Four other states that immediately come to mind are Pennsylvania, Arizona, Ohio and Georgia in which the voters rejected competent conservatives in Republican primaries in favor of less qualified candidates for governor and/or the Senate endorsed by the former president based almost entirely on their support of his election denial narrative. In a way Georgia somewhat to its credit was a partial exception. Although the Republicans did nominate a clown endorsed by Trump for the Senate they actually did nominate competent conservatives for governor and secretary of state despite opposition of the Orange One.
Interesting that you don’t see Biden as a proven liar as well. Biden is showing no leadership, and giving no unifying message…that’s happening now. Why are you okay with it?
He may not be the great Uniter, and I certainly agree that our country remains as divider as ever. As for cause, that’s really irrelevant to the point. However, the premise of the original post — that Biden is dividing BECAUSE he criticizes the election lie pushers, is just unfair and inaccurate.
This isn’t about trump though. This thread is about Biden behaving poorly and much like Trump, he’s dividing us. Hell, you and I can’t even agree on that.
