Maybe because libbies have little identity and just wish to tear down America. Maybe y’all just see the negative in our past and our present. Perhaps cons are proud of our country and don’t feel the need to bash everything about it.
IF the red wave happens it will be as I stated months back. The dems badly overestimated how concerned the average American family is over Dobbs. 99% of Americans arent thinking about abortion nearly as much as they are gas, food, rates, etc If the opposite happens than the republicans underestimated it. All the ads in my state have the liberal attacking the conservative on abortion and the conservative attacking the liberal on economy and crime. We shall see.
My gut response here is that I think (at least up until now) that's been more about Trump specifically. Many on the left were mad or crying when Hillary lost. I think that was about the "team" mentality, but I don't think Democrats were that personally invested in Hillary. It may be very hard for another Republican to replicate that. I don't think we'd have seen the boat parades and flags if Romney won in 2012 or if Cruz had won in 2016. I also doubt January 6th would have happened. Maybe the cat's out of the bag at this point, but even if DeSantis wins, I doubt whether it will be the same because I don't think he has the same charisma to get so many to feel that invested in him personally.
Even logistically speaking, abortion is not on the same level of inflation. If you're in a state with restrictions, you can just go to another state and a pro-abortion agency like PP will fund the trip. With inflation, you can't get away from it, no matter where you go.
