This will be an SEC road game - never easy in this conference. The Aggies are 3.5 favourites. I like what I see from Florida and feel that A&M is on a unstoppable downhill slide, so am going to predict a Gator win here. Florida: 38 Texas A&M: 17 GO Gators!
I will be at this game, so they must win or else I have to suffer being surrounded by 100,000 Texas cult weirdos. The Boys from Old Florida: 38 The Weirdos Without Female Cheerleaders: 37
Wow, two of you are predicting a double digit win, I think it will be a very close game. UF 24 TAMU 23
The Gators finally put down an SEC team with some authority! And, not a minute too soon. Gators 42 A&M 24 Realistically, we were a bad ref call and a freak Bowers miracle from being in the game against Ga. This A&M win is the tonic for the end of the season turnaround! A&M folks will be using their towels to wipe the tears from their fallen faces. Go Gators.
This is a tough one to predict, both teams are having disappointing years, both seemingly desperate to get a win. With this being year 5 of the Jimbo era, I would say A&M is more desperate as the expectations were far higher in College Station 11 am kick-off probably helps the Gators as opposed to a night kick-off, but A&M will still get something of a home-field bump. Florida losing one of best defensive players for "off the field" issues certainly doesn't help, does the rest of the Gator team rally? A&M seemingly finding a QB that can give them a little bit of spark, but they still gave up close to 400 yards rushing to Ole Miss. I think this is going to be somewhat of a low-scoring, ugly game... Weigman looked good Saturday... Best performance a QB of theirs has had all year, easily. Don't like that for us. He could shred our secondary. But he could also have some freshman mistakes. No idea where to fall here... But I'm really hoping we get this one as I can't stand Fisher (and our inability to beat him), and really hope this win can begin the turnaround for this season.
This is as good as there is. We lost against LSU and UGa. Actually, UGa is the opposite of EWU (a definite loss instead of a definite win) and so it does not really count. Still, we lost a game that we could have won against LSU. That means the pendulum swings back to the Gators side this week. But it is likely going to be a win we could have easily lost. I see it 20-17, Gators. Unless it is 20-19. That close.
With Cox gone now that will either be good or bad. Someone might emerge, or there will be a lack of at least some pressure. Go Gators.
