I sure do. I think it was being served with a slice of lemon if I recall correctly. Of course, that was in the super sophisticated Jacksonville of the mid 1950s.

I think it was in the mid 90s when Pepsi outbid Coke for exclusivity. I'm sure some heads rolled at Coke over that. If I remember correctly, I don't think Gatorade could even be sold on campus because Pepsi owned Powerade.

Carbonated drinks are disgusting. Water is healthier and more refreshing.

Yes, I freely choose to do what the program asks of me (for the most part). No, I'm not entitled to any inside information because of it. But, I am allowed to express my reasoning as to why I think we should know. The players also make an optional choice to become well-compensated participants in a high-profile program, with all the perks that come from it, and that's a very public thing. It's not like I'm interested in his academic performance or his medical history. I'd prefer to know why he can't fulfill his commitment in order to better understand the state of the program we all support. Doesn't mean I think I'm entitled to it, and it surely doesn't mean my preference will ever come true. It won't. I can still wish for it out loud.

I’ve read almost all of the posts on this topic and I’m glad the majority seem to feel like we should stand behind BN on this. If we are going to return to elite status we have to rebuild and BN is showing he has the courage to make the hard decisions necessary to achieve this.
It’s getting to be a serious challenge to keep control of college football teams today because of the transfer portal, NIL, and the general change in the personalities and attitudes of today’s “student Athletes”. I hope BN doesn’t wear down like Meyer, Mullen and others have. Best way for us to see that he doesn’t is SUPPORT.

He has played much better and more disciplined football this year. Arguably our top defender. Granted it’s a lost season and we need next years guys to start getting reps…

Argue all you want but he grades out as the ninth best defender on a horrific defense, which means he apparently only grades out better than two other starters.

Did dog ear-ing work for you, because my method never did. Wanted a chemistry set and got a microscope. Wanted an electric football game and got a football. Wanted a set of drums and got a guitar. Did get Rock'em Sock'em Robots though.

There are two types of NIL money:

    1. Come to our school money
    2. You're a star, promote our product with your name

In either case, I wouldn't write a contract that paid you if/when you got kicked off the team. That said, Cox could get another form of #1 if he were to come back another season for another team. Which ... I'm not sure. He's had a wobbly career for a 5*, but the NFL often operates on potential more than anything. I suspect he'll shoot for the draft and be a mid-rounder.
