Cox hasn't played his role correctly for the last 2 years. Bigtime talent but he should have been benched last year.

 

Players make poor decisions that are out of the hands of the fans-he had problems at uga-that's why he is here-it is unfortunate-but he chose this path

He was quite good this year, which makes this all the more surprising. At least on the field there was a big improvement.

They are probably upset he was within 10 yards of a wide receiver when the ball was snapped on 3rd and long...god this year SUCKS!

 

It’s actually good for the team in the sense that most thought he would explore the NFL next year…our record in the next few games probably won’t be affected by his absence…plus gives more snaps to those that can help next year.

Yup. A lot of people clueless as to how many plays he cleaned up from other players mistakes. Not that he didn't have his problems still but he was one of if not our most frequent play maker.

 

Dean called it fake news or something to that effect. However, this wouldn’t be the first time he missed a coverage

Good luck to him. Very disruptive on the field (positively & negatively). Just get 2 more wins to become eligible, do whatever's necessary to accomplish that goal

 

Well too bad for Cox as he was showing signs of improvement and less over running the plays. But I am all for keeping players accountable and if they mess up too much off the field, you need to let them go. Hope he learns from it and lands on his feet somewhere good.

First, you apparently don't know what you're talking about . . . but don't hesitate to show-up and throw shade at Florida or its coaches. Are you aware this was due to an off-field issue? If so, please share the source.

Not sure about that statement. His defensive grade of 68.4 ranks 9th on Florida’s defense amongst players with 20+ snaps, according to PFF, which as poor as our defense is, isn't that great of a ranking. .
