That's all we get for now. Hope to beat the bad teams and enjoy moral victories against quality opponents. It's a multi-year fix. AR? Probably not. Napier? Probably.
I'm generally not into moral victories . . . but saw improvement against the #1 team that was trying to RUTS. So I do feel better than if the game had gone differently and the kids laid down (which I didn't expect and which HAS to count for a lot in this rebuilding year). Conceding that's all Florida will get? Not a chance.
Winning the second half only counts if you win the game in the second half. It is easier to win the game with a half time lead of 25 points than winning it when your down by 25 points. Also, from your perspective, UGA won the game in the first, second, and fourth quarters. Winning only one quarter sucks big time.
Don’t believe in such things but I will say this. The single most important thing about this season is to set up NSD 2023. We didn’t hurt ourselves tonight in that area.
Personally, I prefer this mantra... And if you can't (or won't), well then I will just take my double soy latte and sit under a different tree than the one with your poopie face.
