We all knew at the start of the season the players aren't where we need to be.

Now we know the coaching staff has growing to do as well.

Hope they can do it because they are going to be here for the foreseeable future.

Yes, it DOES seem to be working.

AR is 10/17 for 64 yards on 3rd & 3 yds - 7 yds. That's 3.78 yards when we need 5 yards on average. In the same situation Etienne averages 5.8 yards & Johnson 7.3 yards. That's why we run it.

    Toney’s D produced 3 turnovers, 3 punts, and a couple 4th down stops.

We lost but we are probably not 131/131 on 3rd down D now.

    This is a complete rebuild.

    Go Gators!!’

They didn't quit which is a monumental change.
The don't have the players (and competent play calling).
I said it earlier, we are closer to Vanderbilt than teams of actual merit in the SEC.

Its an old fashioned offense. We don’t run a modern route tree. Meaning we don’t adapt to what they are doing at all. So if we are in a play that fails vs their D then we see screwed. Modern offenses will adjust routes once coverage is diagnosed…

Combine that with a lot of 2 route concepts plus extremely long play action and you get a tough passing game

Tom Brady would struggle in such a system.

Napier has us on the right track. If you don’t see that by now, you’re probably a jerk and have watched a lot of college football.

Mullen can call and scheme plays well. He probably would have taken this team and done better, if his heart was in it. But he could never get us over the hump and build a program. I feel like Napier is running what he wants to run no matter that the personal doesn’t fit the scheme. It will in time, but for now it’s ugly.

IMO, we have to have the qb hit for 60+% completion pct. Until we do, offense will be inconsistent.

    O C-, D F, ST F, Fight A (unfortunately, this category doesn't win championships; since about 2005).

The disparity on the field is like the prime Meyer teams against zombie Bowden FSU.

YPC 2.9 yds, 0/3 on 4th down, 4/16 on 3rd down, 3 turnovers, never seen so many passes "thrown away".....uga is a different animal.....need to make
    adjustments in play calling......didn't happen

No he wouldn't have. The issue is all of his players were Mac's players and none would have been back this year and he would have been exposed. Mullen had a 45th ranked class before he was fired.

Billy is the CEO. If he fails on OC (himself) or DC (Toney) then he puts his real job in jeopardy (CEO). Of course it’s his call but the success of his decisions will influence how long he stays at his real job. I happen to think he can be an excellent CEO but he has to get his two big decisions right

should have said 3 turnovers in our favor, which should have been a game changer

6-6. I said it over the summer and I haven't budged even after we beat Utah. Thank Mullen and his 45th ranked class he was going to have before we fired his butt.
