    Honestly I'd like to know. I wish the reporting on the data was accurate. But it isn't. Just like when "mass shooting" statistics include things like a drive by shooting or domestic incidents that John Q Public generally does not associate with being a mass shooting event, thus leading to over reporting.

    Meanwhile, actual defensive gun use statistics, useful to determine net impact, are often underreported, as usually they aren't counted unless someone is injured or killed.

    there is a reason for the term ‘gun violence’. Guy breaks into house and attempts rape of female occupant. He gets shot by victim, that is statically considered gun violence. 4 gang bangers shoot it out at 2am in local school parking lot. That’s a school mass shooting and gun violence. Purposeful obfuscation

    I would also like to see some legit studies on who, what when and where for any use of weapon
