Lol, sure. Go defend Miami some more. Maybe you can even go become a fan and defend Cristobal’s honor. Canesinsight is right over that way.
I never said anything different. You're the one who said he "didn't give 2 poops" where his players went and I showed how he did. If for no other reason than recruiting to his high school.
Fair enough but he quit on the team last year the way Mullen did. He walked into a good situation as Oregon has been a legitimate program for a while now. His situation in Oregon is not close to what Napier has to fix here. We will see what he can do at Miami but while I can actually excuse losing to Duke (not getting blown out) the middle Tennessee state loss is pretty inexcusable. I have my concerns with Napier and I think short term other coaches could have done better this season than he has but I'm pretty optimistic of his long term vision and organization so far. Gotta produce on the field though or else it will be time to move on again unfortunately
Geez. Lighten up. 17 yo kid made a choice. That's fine. His story is still to be written as to if he becomes all american or not. Best of luck to him. I do sort of feel sorry for him because the only place he will get to experience the real college football atmosphere is on the road, albeit in the ACC. Perhaps he'll have the opportunity(honor?) to play against UF sometime during his career (in which case I do not wish him luck in that game ).
We can have good things. But it has been years since we've had great things. I don't see that changing with current administration.
to get the real college football atmosphere he will have to play at Clemson cuz the rest of their stadium experiences are lame as well. V tech and fsu can have good college crowds. The rest? Quite lame with smaller stadiums.
The NCAA is powerless because of the lawyers and judges rulings. Do you really think the NCAA wants this mess?
They have always been feckless, and I think they might even be corrupt too. They knew what was going on at FSU with all the Cadillac Escalades in the football parking lot... and still turned a blind eye way back in the '90's.
I hate it but we didn't quit on any of the last 3. Champ failed at carolina as well. Mac was in over his head and didn't even have a proper strength and conditioning program. I had so much hope for Mullen but can't believe he quit on the program and neglected so many aspects of it. What's worse is we have made wholesale scheme changes under multiple regimes on offense and defense that require different personnel. It's been a mess but it's not like the coaches haven't hurt their own causes in each case. Lord I want stability for this program
Time to unfollow the kid and move on. Do not go out and tweet at him or make some sideways comment about him on social media. Just unfollow him, his mom, and Polkway and move on.
thankfully I already don’t follow a single high school, college, or pro athlete of any sport. (I’m incredibly intellectually and emotionally secure).
