They recruit for high schools now.

Where you place your players either helps you recruit, or not.

How about this one…Lincoln Riley won the big 12 3 times but was 0-3 in the college football playoff. He must not be a good coach as he was winless in the playoff?

Excluding eastern Washington, Florida has been outscored in both the 3rd and 4th quarter in 2022, must mean our staff cannot make second half adjustments so aren’t good?

 

Time will tell but for now MC has won more in P5 than BN.

Again, I’m far from sold on our staff, they certainly aren’t infallible, but Cristobal is not a good coach. Both things can be true. Just because I think Cristobal sucks as a coach doesn’t mean I think Napier is great.

 

At the end of this season? Coming off a losing season with a terrible defense? Why would that equal the same thing as the last year in a program Cristobal lead for multiple years? Try and leave the insults out this time and just talk football.

This. The book isn't written on Napier yet. The main problem this year is the defense. The offense isn't catering to AR but they are in their first year and not doing terrible considering the wholesale change in scheme and ARs meltdowns.

People remember nothing matters until the kids sign on the dotted line in December. Quit getting so wrapped up in recruiting. Especially with the pay for play that we have now.

 

Utah, twice, with better talent at Oregon than what they pull in at Utah. Not just twice, but epically inept beatdowns both times. He even got a chance at a rematch against them after the first embarrassment and somehow he crapped the bed even worse the second time. He’s a bad coach, not sure how this is even debatable given what we’ve seen the past two seasons and how he’s performed against teams with inferior talent.

MC was 35-13 at Oregon with 2 conference titles. If BN can do the same we will all be happy.
