Do they have crappy DB coaches? You wouldn't think ours are any good either based on the performance on the field this year.

2. As soon as kids were committing to other schools - the gator sites are just gross. Calling kids thugs etc. Kids may not care what old dudes say but they see stuff. Seeing how our fans act has to play a part in it. ( Miami doesn’t really have fans so that’s advantage Miami there lol)
3. Our style of play. Lining up in soft zone cover 3, regression not progression by our players. It just doesn’t look like a fun defense or offense to play in, im not saying Miami does necessarily but Strong has been more aggressive. I promise we will lose Wrs to Tennessee in the same vain - if Billy cares about recruiting/ he has to take style of play into consideration

Sure, but that was based more on upside than anything. He didn’t dominate in college by any means.

In the last two years Cristobal has gotten blown out by Duke, Middle Tennessee State, and Utah, twice. One stinker against Utah is acceptable, they have a terrific program, but the fact that you had a chance in a rematch against them to change how you did things the first time and played even worse… dude is ass as a head coach.

 

This is what happens when government officials try to make law, the NCAA doesn’t bother and the SEC conference commissioner are more worried about their their money they get. making laws that are only for public universities, not private schools, show they are failing at their job. Can they correct this, probably not. Payoala is still the recruiting win. Way to go all you overpaid people, never have you let so many down. Unfairness still rains. Stuff like this is why I haven’t really been gloating about Miami losing. Cristobal is a mediocre game day coach but they brought him there as an elite recruiter and that’s what he’s doing, whatever he’s selling these kids, they’re buying.

The kid is difficult to read but the situation wasn’t hard to read at all.

I’ve been following Gator recruiting on GC for over a quarter century. The kids who never tip their hand usually don’t due to $. That never changes.

 

There should be real concerns about being able to land any elite talent if you can’t secure the local who grew up a gator fan in a gator stronghold who would have been coached by the greatest CB developer of this generation in Raymond. I have zero faith with DJ Lagway at this point based on our very huge failure with Cormani when we had the deck stacked in our favor.
