It's hilarious how some think that one incident from 2008 is somehow a balance to all of the death threats and violence unleashed by the Big Lie.

You fixin' to find out the difference when the plotters' indictments start flying after this election...

Amazing how history repeats. There were a lot of anarchists, the so-called Black Bloc, who used the George Floyd BLM protests as cover for mayhem. They were by far the majority of the individuals acting out organized violence and property damage. Fox ran them on a loop and said it was BLM protests because they like to promote racism. They have been hard to arrest because they are smart tactically and cover their faces. They have over 20 years of experience.

In any event, listening to this podcast and they are talking about the anarchistic "Days of Rage" violence from the Weathermen in the 60s. Richard Daley criticizes them, but so does...Fred Hampton of the Black Panthers - see "Judas and the Black Messiah". Fred knew, then as now, that anarchistic violence is just wrong, counterproductive, and that the marginalized, i.e., people like Fred, will pay the primary price. And he was right then, right now.

In the two examples you mention I think both groups are fools.

While admittedly exaggerating to illustrate a point, if a single person in a group of 1,000 protestors threw a Molotov cocktail the resulted in a fire you would characterize the entire group of protestors as violent arsonists. And while the article did focus a couple of idiots at a single drop box they are indicative of a movement to intimidate voters throughout the state of Arizona if not throughout the country.

It's BS to include others along with these right-wing crazies.

So you agree with me, it was a couple of idiots.

You know very well it wasn’t just 1-2 scumbags looting and burning buildings in the multiple cities during the summer of fire.

    Why?
    They area a small minority.
If I didn’t come here I wouldn’t even know about these few idiots.

Or is it because you support the crazies on the far left?

In some locations in AZ these people are being encouraged by Republican office holders. So, I think the reservation went with them.

I’m only 10 posts into this thread and already the nonsensical deflecting bullshit rears its head. There is NOTHING in recent history even remotely the same as idiots denying the election. It may only be a few creeps with guns and face coverings intimidating voters at polling places, but it’s part of a larger movement to install a dictator and rid the country of voting except in the same way Russians, for example, get to vote.

I’ve no doubt that if I read on, I’ll see people such as yourself keep the thread off the rails with irrelevant comparisons and miss entirely the larger issue.

Wholesome sounding group suing another wholesome sounding group to make them stop the voter intimidation.

New Filing in Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans v. Clean Elections USA

Lawsuit filed on behalf of the Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans and Voto Latino against Clean Elections USA, Melody Jennings (the founder of Clean Elections USA) and unnamed defendants challenging Clean Elections USA’s alleged voter intimidation practices. The plaintiffs allege that the organization’s supporters “gathered at ballot drop boxes in Maricopa County with the express purpose of deterring voters—who Defendants irrationally fear are ‘ballot mules’—from depositing their ballots.”

No, it was several white supremacists trying to discredit BLM.

I guess it was white supremacy groups who tricked the leader of BLM to bilk millions from the organization also.

Or white supremacists who shot the retired black cop who was a security guard.

Or the countless other people who were arrested for looting and burning building and then bailed out by the left.

Was it white supremacists who took over parts of Portland?

You trying to use a few jackasses to ignore the thousands of those arrested in the riots is a joke.

Let’s not forget the BLM agitator who was arrested during the capital hill riot and was on video inciting people to burn the place down.

Like I said there are assholes on both sides. If you can’t accept that I can help you.

Cool story. There are assholes on both sides

Now explain why YOU can’t handle that, since apparently it’s more important to deflect than to discuss these assholes.
