Is GDP reported in an inflation-neutral way? Or is this rise just a reflection of inflation in pure dollars?

The economy is growing. Unemployment is low. I’m thinking about putting some significant cash into index funds. Im owed a gain as the spring buy I did hasnt gone up yet. Nice way of saying it went down.

of course not….they needed to leave room on their landing page for a story about Tom Watson getting divorced after 3 months and Biden making a sour face. Real journalism at its utter best.

That said, this economic disruption is a long way from over.

If you have significant cash without a plan or purpose for it (aside from 3-6 months of covering living expenses), it should already be in index funds, imho.

Time in the market beats timing the market.

Most news sources track the S&P so you don’t need me. If you take a look at it over time it always goes up.

So no recession then? Hmmm... I thought some on here were telling us how we already were in one and just how horrible it was going to be.

Market up 5% over last 30 days.

Correct we did have one, don't count your chickens just yet because with interest rates hikes it takes 6-12 months to hit the economy. That's economics 101.

Yes, but it’s better to be out at certain times and in at certain times. Right now the probability of the market dropping 15-20% over the next few months is higher than it going up the same % in that time frame.
