2023. TJ Searcy Commits to UF.

Hungry are better types than front runners. Need the talent but also the attitude.

 

The excuse and bs when we lose recruits does not make anyone happy! Wish them good luck and move on . Kids love UT and Clemson. If we were being recruited so would we . There are a lot of happy programs out there without turmoil . Not sure if we are one of those . There are adults out their that steer kids away . As much as we think we are the “State University “ we are not the end all be all. We are a very average program with a bit of an upward trend . We had to heat UK and LSU this year but we failed . That kind of set UF back ! WIN FRIGGIN GAMES !!!

 

Hope so. If you are one of a big class of WR/DBs and some other schools are asking you to take a sober look at your commitment, you might listen. We can't expect and hope to flip players but not have ours taken away once in a while.

I like the UF recruiting this year.

That I believe. I hope we land another DT and hold the class together. Monster D class if it all pans out.

 

i said in the DL thread there should NO WAY we whiff on Walker, McDonald, and Smith. We will get one of em

 

Feel we need two still. Is Will Norman solid and on board? Love our SDEs and yes, one or two will be able to move inside if needed. But feels like we can make hay this cycle.

 

forgot to answer this. Norman seems solid I suppose. Dont really hear much about him anymore

 

Since he moved from IMG after commitment back up home to NJ always a geographic of proximity concern. Appears solid thus far. Had an injury early in HS season that prevented from playing

 

Luckily his Hometown teams are not very appealing. Not many in the Northeast are for football.
