Irrelevant as you know. I have lived far too long I suppose to really buy in to anything less than people releasing selfish nonsensical opinions. The wheel goes round and round and innocent people take the hit for it.

School shootings are terrible, but it not on the gun. If you want to really save kids, then keep Fentynal off the boarder. Guns are not going anywhere.

Is it truly an either or situation? Why can’t we stop more of the fentanyl from coming into the country and restrict gun ownership for young and crazy people.

There are 2 HUGE federal agencies with armed agents paid to address these issues with a combined budget of over $11 Billion dollars. How much more outrage can we afford?

What is this “take”? You just tried to gaslight half the country over a shooting which didn’t even involve someone with a criminal history. Just a ludicrously stupid post. Good job.

I’ll give you this, most of the time I can’t tell if you’re trolling for fun or actually believe the stuff you post or put ratings on. If it was pre-Donald I’d say the former but hell if I know now.

The gun.death.same thing. Sorry but they exist to kill and they should have been restricted long ago.
Today. a teenager in Putnam County shot a 5 year old after an argument with the child's parents. This not weird anymore. I believe all these leave me alone, I can do as I please, MAGA thinkers have no idea the world they unfolded. It's too easy now to be a jerk. Too easy to kill. Too easy to kill with a gun.

It’s always .. ALWAYS been easy to kill. And it has always been easy to kill with a gun. So why is the answer?

Ban…what? More people are killed with a simple 9 mm each year than anything else. The vast vast majority of gun owners (legal gun owners) are law abiding citizens that take their weapons and the handling of the weapons seriously. Few.. very few … are killers. The non legal gun owners who make up the bulk of gun murders and shootings are not going to comply with any law, any ban you place on them. They are already committing or trying to commit murder.

We have many many laws in place to help curb these shootings. But no one wants to go after the parents of the kids that neglect them, turned a blind eye to all the warning signs. “They’re just kids”. No one wants to talk about the trillion dollar pharma industry that jacks up kids brains and emotions from the time they ca talk. No one wants to point fingers at the root causes. Schools that over crowded and have become nothing more than day care… provide breakfast for my kid, provide counseling for my kid, provide lunch, dinner, after school activities, etc… so my job as a parent because I won’t do it.

But yeah… we can keep blaming the inanimate object. All my guns stay loaded and none… not a one of the many I have have ever attempted to shoot anything with a human intent guiding it.

Where is the real problem and how do we fix it. Not some emotional platitudes. Not some pie in the sky hope and we got to do something.
People here got upset at the idea of hardening schools. Many schools in Fl have locked doors and have to be buzzed in to enter. Many are gated and fenced. It’s not hard or cost prohibitive.

Start looking at the drugs we put in our kids.

Start looking at the emotional strain we put on them from the day they enter school. Start looking at family dynamics for these shooters. Start finding answers. Not just crying BAN GUNS.

Drugs are illegal and we even waged war on them. Still more people die from drugs than from gun violence. You can restrict guns all you want to and just make everyone else targets. If you feel safer knowing that no one has a gun you should probably not go to a democrat ran city, who has implemented gun control.

You live in a ridiculous mindset of political arrogance. You are wrong. Look at the real world around you. It's not political it sociological.
    Guns are just stupid.

Why do call the police when bad things happen. Because they have guns, and if they did not why call.

Guns are not why people call the police. Having a 3rd party to intervene is. Of course there are circumstances where armed police are warranted but for godsakes one would expect trained officers.
Do look at the UK police and their responses and you will get need vs not so need. We need to end this war amongst our own blatant failures and begin to right the wrongs. Guns are weapons zed in Stand Your Ground or Shoot the Dude running away as if that moment fixes all that is wrong! Maybe people need to stop acting superior to others and feel the life we are all given.Pompous freaks thinking they own lives...give me a break!

These people never even used to mention “fentanyl/drugs on the border” until the MAGA politicians started using it as a talking point. That contingent blindly repeats everything they hear, like kids who repeat what they hear their parents say lol
