People in full tactical gear, faces hidden, and fully armed have been taking pictures and videos at Arizona Election Drop Boxes as early voting in the state is now open. These actions have created several voter intimidation claims, and now the Sheriff is involved.

It's one thing to watch a drop box. It's another to do it in full tac gear, armed with multiple weapons. The wife and I joked about driving by a box several times a day, or buying a trench coat just to drop our ballots off. But then, I really don't want to mess with people in full tactical gear.

Look at these righty cowards. They post up armed with guns at ballot boxes hoping to intimidate people exercising their right to vote...yet attempt to obscure their identities when the cameras come around. If you're going to be bullies, then own your actions with your chests...show your faces and identify yourselves. Incidents such as this are going to continue to happen. The right has lost the plot.

The crazies on the right have gone off the reservation, they have joined the ones on the left who left the reservation a while back.

It’s not a small group of crazies. It’s mainstream right.

Unless I missed it the crazies on the left do have a concerted agenda of voter intimidation as well as the use of other tactics to undermine the electoral system. Actually it's almost a case everything old being new again. The original Ku Klux Klan used similar tactics to intimidate Black voters in the post Civil War South.

The left likes to intimidate SC justices, riot and burn cities also, other than one instance (Jan6) when have masses of the far right done that?
    See above...

They were just making sure the polling place was safe right..?

    Translation:
Intimidation of a Supreme Court Justice. One deranged albeit armed guy stalks Brett Kavanaugh and voluntarily surrenders to the police without directly threatening the justice.
Burning cities: A very small number of hoodlums committing acts of vandalism following peaceful demonstration with the number of demonstrators exceeding the number of vandals by a factor of almost 10 to one.

I guess you missed the scores of people protesting outside SC justices houses.

A “small number” of hoodlums burned multiple US cites of the course of weeks? SMFH

In the case of this thread what was it a couple of idiots by a drop box and you translate that to the majority of the Pub party???
    Your partisanship is showing man.

SCOTUS justices who lied about "set precedents" during confirmations to overturn Roe had to deal with peaceful protestors outside their homes. WAAAAAAAHHH!

Meanwhile, election officials around the country are quitting in fear of endless death threats thanks to the 2020 Big Lie.

    Yeah, same.

So you decide it’s justified to stake out someone’s house when you don’t like their opinion, I’ll bet the rioters and looters were justified also in your warped logic circuits.

You’re no different than the idiots who felt protesting and trashing the capitol was warranted because of their feeling that an election was stolen….

    Really weak bothsiderism.

The rioters on 1/6 could be more aptly compared to the arsonists setting fires during the BLM riots or better yet the “Chaz” left wing anarchy zone, though it’s notable at least a few of those most famous instances of arson turned out to be right wingers doing raise flags (I.e. the exact same sorts of people involved in 1/6). I wouldn’t expect the majority were, but it makes you wonder how many others were for the ones not prosecuted. There were elements to that during BLM, as well as straight up looting which has absolutely nothing to do with political activism. Looters are not political, it’s just 100% criminals taking advantage of the situation.

I think gathering outside someone’s home is generally a bad look and could lead to bad things (threats and such, esp victimizing “innocent” people that may be in the household), but still not comparable to actual rioting. BTW if you are interested in engaging in “bothsiderisms” about the Supreme Court you might also consider the many threats levied from deranged Trumpers against election workers (including showing up at their homes, which I think is much worse as not everyone gets the same protections as a justice), against Secretaries of State, the plot against the Michigan governor, etc… culminating with 1/6 and the threats to hang the VP. The level of derangement isn’t even close to comparable.

Should not happen. Same time. We need all the facts. Just like this could be right wing extremists. It could just as easy be a Smollett circumstance.

I clearly see who they are and that they aren't holding weapons in a menacing way. But oh my gawd, they are black and at the polls so they HAVE to be trying to stop snowflakes from voting.
This is the second post with the same pic from 2 different posters. Anything else to offer to try and equate the two sides when it comes to voter intimidation? I mean other than the fact that a black person dressed as a panther rep clearly scares you for some reason.
It is laughable at best to try and paint the two sides with the same voter brush. One side doesn't want anyone to vote while the other wants everyone to vote. Hmmmm.

So the takeaway is that the voter intimidation is just fine because of what some rioters did in other locations. Duly noted.

Yeah no defense on this one. Time to call the National Guard to disperse these clowns. No need to intimidate voters. The choices are already made.

    Horribly stupid comparison.

It's interesting though how there is no overlap in the groups that think it's ok to protest outside school board member's homes because they won't ban "gay books" but not ok to protest outside a perjuring SCOTUS member's house.
