Ultimately coaches are judged based on the product they put out on saturdays. A lot goes into that, but when you have a team that has an inconsistent QB who isn’t showing much development and a terrible defense it’s hard to give a good grade. Fact is team has looked crappy in multiple games. Last 5 games are all tough but 4 are at least winnable. Got to get to at least 6 wins to avoid a disaster year 1. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed in how Uf has looked, despite the fact that the record is not far off from what I originally predicted.

    Should I assume your 4 remaining wins are @TAMU, S Carolina,@Vandy & @FSU?
@TAMU suddenly looks easier than S Carolina at home.

We better win out in the remaining (after Georgia) SEC games. No more excuses. If we lose to the Gamecocks (who we should beat by 4 TDs) and FSU, it will be a disaster.

When you have no pass rush and your linebackers can’t cover and your db’s completely miss assignments, 131 is what you get. We have some talent but as a unit there are just too many holes to scheme around. Looks like they are just trying to prevent big plays and hope the offense makes a mistake which may be the best we can do with what we’ve got.

It’ll be hard to beat them by four tds if we score every time we get the ball.

The Cocks win by excellent Special Teams play.
They had TAMU in the hole by 17 points before the game really even started.
TAMU's defense (their strength) clamped down on the Carolina offense and they couldn't move.
We can't give the Cocks any early breaks or they will take advantage of them and put us away.

Zook made really bad offensive choices with Zaun' calling plays (Miami at home).
Of course, he beat the poodles team 2-out-of-3 years so that was memorable.
Napier has possibly made a really bad choice with a young Patrick Toney in charge.

Vandy, USC, F$U, We will get throttled by UGA and TAMU because the talent level is so mismatched and they will be the worst losses of the year.

If you look at this from 50k feet and see the big picture, we have been in every game even with pretty weak talent. I think they are coaching their butts off. It's going to look bad the next two weeks, but the close out three games are all equal talent and we should close them out with the W.

This is a stabilize the team year and turn the corner in the recruiting race. It was always going to look ugly.

Sad but true. Appears zero confidence from the coaches to the players so its bend but don't break which has at least kept us from getting blown out. But, we are still losing games and since what we are doing isn't working, I would love to see us become more aggressive. If coaches have little faith in the upper class guys, use the youth more to gain experience. My concern is if the guys are still confused as to what to do doesn't that fall on the coaches a bit? Just so maddening watching this D week after week fail.

If they don’t get it, it’s not always the teachers fault.

If they don't get it it's time to play someone else.

I watched the entire game, a really good one even though both teams made plenty of mistakes.
All we have to do to beat A&M is continually blitz their QB Wuss McWuss (it works) and we can get them off the field so our offense can get enough possessions. I’m not convinced our DC has the wisdom to scheme us to victory.
A&M will be desperate for a win and we need a great game-plan to beat them.
