It was going to happen. Biden put a band aid on the gas for a couple months and Roe also hurt the gop. Eventually, though, you can’t keep putting lipstick on a pig. Indies see thru it and they control the vote.

I invited you to explain the GOP’s plan to bring down inflation. Instead, you posted the lazy man’s come on man and a non sequitur table. Is that the best you can do?

Not spending a crazy amount of money on stuff after you know there was already large amounts spent previously due to Covid.

Why do female Democrats turn into black southern preachers when they’re on the stump ?

If Trump had been captain of the Titanic, he would have told the passengers that they were just stopping for ice.

Oy vey. Still doesn't matter whether it's an R or a D. It's about the self-serving nature of all politicians and a broken system. Nothing partisan about it.

If the election was in July, Dems would have gained in both houses IMO. Dobbs was fresh. It was raw. But abortion is not on the top of people's minds right now.

A recent Monmouth University poll had only 5% of those surveyed as abortion being the #1 issue in this election. It was the 5th ranked item as #1 issue behind Inflation, Gas Prices, Everyday bills/groceries, and the economy in general.
Economic issues dominate as top issue for voters, new poll shows

A recent Gallup poll showing trends had abortion peaked at 8% in July but now back to 4% of those surveyed identifying that as the top issue in the election. Inflation is a staggering 17% and economic problems total 38% of voters top issues. Poor leadership ranks at an abnormally high 22%.
    Most Important Problem

All this to quote Bill Clinton (or James Carville) - "It's the economy, stupid."

lol... I want to sincerely thank all the democrats that financially supported the Trump endorsed Reps over the establishment cocktail club Reps in the primaries. The incoming House will mostly be cleaned up now in 2023 and we will have great new Governors like Trump endorsed Lake in AZ.

IDK what’s gonna happen but due to some upcoming travel I went and early voted today. Was surprised at the volume of folks utilizing it in our small community.

The sad thing is that the gop is going to win both, but Biden is already claiming the gop will cause an economic shutdown. We’ll no shit. Stop kicking the can down the road and cause a Japanese type decades lost “recession”. Pick it up, throw it away and pull off the band aid already.
He knows what’s coming, actually he Probly doesn’t, but the spinning is already underway to drop blame

It won't work though. The POTUS party almost always takes the blame during crazy economic times. A lot of indies are really ticked off every time they go to the grocery store and pay their new higher utility bills etc. I think as long as Biden is POTUS the Dems will pay the price for that. It looks like a bad recession double dip might be on the horizon after the election also starting with Q4's numbers.

Bad recession is definite. We’re already in a light one and the inflation still hasn’t been squashed yet.

Actually Biden is just repeating what McCarthy and Rick Scott have both said, i.e. we will shut down the government to cut SS and medicare.
