How are you spending your Sunday after no Gator football game the day before?

Like a few here, it's Saturday every day for me. I'm headed out for a 5k trot through my neighborhood in an hour or two because the weather is so nice and the leaves haven't started falling much..

 

Been Saturday is everyday for 23 years!! Lucky me, retiring at 47!!
But Sunday energy still feels different. Beautiful on the bay and damned if I didn't see a bald eagle after my jog this AM. Getting a lot done in my apartment in St Pete. As it starts to warm again I will hit the bay in the kayak looking for Redfish. Then, I head home to San Miguel de Allende.

 

Pretty sure someone got a roughing the passer penalty too

 

My parents live in the Blue Angels flight path out in Perdido! I loved getting free airshows. I am guessing you are in Jacksonville, so that reference might not make sense but the Blues practice over Perdido throughout the week when they are not on tour and they buzz the entire area.

 

WEAR was my favorite channel out there. I grew up watching Sue Straughn and Jared Willets. I cannot remember who came before them in the 1980s.

 

Started the day at church, hit a couple stores. Will attend a choir concert in the afternoon, then will settle in to watch my fantasy team underperform (again), but do so while sipping some very fine whiskey.

Fished Tampa Bay inside and outside of the Skyway Bridge. A funny day, caught a couple of keeper Sea Trout on the flats inside and one Lizard Fish after another on the flats outside. Strange stuff. Beautiful day out there.

 

We took a little drive over into the west Fl/lower Al countryside to drop off a pair of collector grade 1903 Springfields for micro-cleaning and final safety inspection before going to auction. A little later we're going to top the day off with a big old rib steak for dinner. For dessert, I'll have a nice fat gloat at the expense of my Miami born and raised cousin in Virginia. Life is good.

 

It's just one of many, my friend. When it comes to whiskey, I've got an embarrassment of riches. Elmer T Lee is a fantastic bourbon. At the moment, I'm sipping a newly cracked Japanese blend. It's very interesting and will only get better in the coming weeks.

Took advantage of the weather with another day at Goodtimes bar and dog park in flagler Beach. Of course we do this most weekends...
