SEC GAME THREAD: (7) Ole Miss at LSU, Sat. 3:30pm on CBS

I think Kelly is better at having his coaches scheme to his players strengths. It appears Napier wants to build a machine and recruit players to make up the parts. Neither approach is bad, but I like Napier's approach better for the long term. That being said, the lack of innovation or adjustments on the defense is troubling.

 

...but he doesn't want to run.

 

He’s still learning to use his powers for good, not evil.

 

After watching most of the LSU-Ole Miss game yesterday I’m more convinced than ever Napier can and will bring our Gators back to an elite level.
Our guys are playing hard and BN is staying the course. We have a chance to finish this season on a high note but every game will be a war. No easy games for this team.
But if he can keep this team playing hard and with a positive attitude we are on our way.
I hope the Swamp is rocking for our last home game.

Would Lane Kiffin leave Ole Miss for Auburn? Should he?

 

Naw… why would he? aTm on the other hand…

 

Kelly succeeded at Cincinnati, he succeeded at Norte Dame, and he’s going to succeed at LSU where he’ll get better talent than he ever had. It’s not a surprise. He’s an asshole but he’s a good coach.

 

With all the aTm $$$$$$, he would be very dangerous, imho.

He will have success, but he wont be a "world beater" by any stretch of the imagination.
Nor will he beat Bama and Saban, with any regularity.

 

Then We can say that about Napier too. It’s too early to say any of that.

 

It's not - LSU has a much better set of wideouts and he has a lot more experience. LSU had played well the last two games - if that short passing game works against Bama, they're on the way to a breakout season.

 

Just curious..why is he an a@@hole again? I never paid attention to him at ND or Cincy..
