LSU got their guy. Thorough, detailed, and can recruit. I like that Kelly has a urgency I’ve not seen in our last 3 coached. There is no talk about rebuilding only winning. Gotta respect that.
Second half numbers for LSU on both sides of the ball are worthy.....they will get their opportunity to win the west and more if they continue to play like this.
Yep, major credit to Kelly. They have improved a lot since that opening loss to fsu. They still have a shot to win the West, a long shot, but a shot if they can beat Bama Their QB looks like a different player.
I’m a bit disappointed that we don’t look so polished. What’s the difference, they have new staff, presumably new schemes, and ??? Our schemes look…. You know.
I think a big part of the equation is that LSU has continued to actually recruit SEC players these last few years. I'm not knocking our kids one bit . . . but maybe Kelly had a step or two head start overall. I'll still take Coach Napier for the race although some might disagree.
LSU fans would disagree. They had a ton of transfers out and had to get a bunch of lower tier talent to transfer in just to field a team.
Yeah, I know and you're right. I just think we had no idea the true shape of Florida's roster. There was a reason Coach came in and one of the first things he said was "be patient."
Wow. Night and day to our program. We look like an absolute mess and here they are beating a top ten team, in the SEc and now 4-1 SEC. Credit LSU
Yep, I live in Louisiana and I dont think there is the same level of talent as there used to be. Still plenty of ripe talent, but not like it used to be. I see LSU having to do more "national" recruiting in the future. That might be why they hired Kelly. Hell, their best player ever, came from Ohio. Without Joe Burrow, no way do they win the NC in 2019. In fact, they would have lost to UF and Bama, at minimum.
Final score: 45-20 Tigers! I knew that LSU QB was good when they beat us and he continues to demonstrate how right I was! And to all who made fun of Brian Kelly......and Josh Heupel......look who has the last laugh!
