It’s interesting that Miami has beat us out for transfers like Darrell Jackson and some big-time recruits. It’s also interesting to watch an offense like Duke and Ole Miss. AR deserves major credit for putting points on the board like he did against Tennessee and LSU. Our offense is very very basic and not overly exciting. Two receivers in patterns w the third being a decoy quite a bit limits us.
Nah, it just shows that there is more going on behind the scenes that we aren't privy to. Mario has yet to show that he can win. His overall record is hovering around 50%.
Even with things being rocky here currently, always a joy to look at um and see a program in even worse shape. Lol
I tried to warn them multiple times that Cristobal is a horrible game day coach. Anybody who watched his Oregon team against Utah twice last season could have easily deduced this. They were completely unprepared to play them both times, against a team with less talent, and got completely dominated. They thought he could get elite talent, but that’s not even happening as once Napier seals the deal with McClain the Gators would finish ahead of them.
Would you agree Billy received a pass on no questions as to why no portal transfers at DT or linebacker? I mean we lost 2 potential 2nd team to 3rd team all sec linebackers so we’d surely add a plug and play backer right?
Yes, I would. But would you agree that it's peculiar that Mario with a barely above average winning percentage is able to lure highly regarded recruits to that mess in Coral Gables?
Miami has a ton of injuries on their team.....granted, they still shouldn't be getting blown out by Duke at home. Their coaching staff, even with all of the 'big names', looks mightily suspect.
Good points. After years of miserable injury luck ourselves I have to say this about Miami and their current state if affairs.
scUm is maybe worse than they've been and Oregon seems to be improved. For Oregon it was addition by subtraction for Mario to leave. For scUm, it's just subtraction.
Miami had less turnovers in their last basketball game against Duke than they did today in football against Duke. Think about that.
