Not surprised that it's GTI (Green Thumb Industries.) They're a huge player on the cultivation side in Illinois and also own RISE branded dispensaries. They rank third among Illinois based cannabis companies behind Cresco and Verano. I buy a fair amount of GTI weed but I'm not very happy with them of late. They're flower is not well manicured compared to other in-state growers. Lots of broken nugs and bits of stem. If not for the monopoly on some of my favorite strains in Illinois, I wouldn't buy from them at all. That said, they're good marketers. They should do well in Florida.

Don’t cannabis dispensaries have to be medical in Florida. Not sure if this will work without a change in the law.

But doesn’t the law require separate entrance and staff? I guess they could build out walls like they do for walk in humidors. I really think they may be getting ahead of the game for when it is fully legalized.

 

As I heard it the stores that participate will be having separate entrances. I know one store in Orlando that will definitely be selling more grass than gas.
