England is older than dirt and she is the shortest PM ever. That is a historical failure. Figures she is conservative.

 

Their right party are practically lefties themselves. A bunch of them anyway. That country and Germany etc. are in big trouble with all the nonsense they have done over there. Probably even worse than what Biden is doing to the USA.

The right party (most of them anyway) there aren't even what a moderate would be considered here. They are for lefty big government control and all that nonsense for the most part. They are trying to outdo what Biden has done to us. Destroying the ability of the average person to even pay their basic bills.

Well The PM (Liz) just resigned.

 

Nah, she's a full on righty, even by American standards. She tried the one thing that America Conservatives know how to do ... tax cuts for rich. But that didn't work, so now she's completely out of ideas and has to resign.

 

The UK right has accepted socialized health care, and perhaps some other social programs that we have yet to accept. That is out of political necessity, just like most on the right now defend social security and Medicare. Otherwise I don’t think the philosophical difference is that large.

However our right does seem to be more captured by delusional conspiracy theories.

 

Yeah, I mean it’s only worked for them for over a century, through 2 world wars, the Cold War, the EU mess, multiple economic downturns and now a final energy crisis.
