He’s playing great defense and swinging the bat!

Maybe we should have allowed him to hit with wooden bats at UF.

I think that is still legal in college ball.

Bader had 17 HRs and similar number of doubles his last year at UF. Did okay with an aluminum bat as well.

That was ideal. Astros sweep to go to the WS. Yankees get swept. And Harrison Bader was amazing. Win-win-win!!!

I was pulling for Yanks, though I dont follow MLB much. Then, I looked at Houston line up and saw these guys; Kyle Tucker bro of Preston Tucker. Kyle played at Plant high in Tampa. Former UF signee Lance McCullers Jr a starter for Houston. Played at Tampa Jesuit. Christmas Tree family.

I was torn with the Astros/Yankees series. The Astros cheated in years past but the Yankees have more championships than UCLA in basketball so there is a lot of hate.

I was OK with the Astros winning because I really like Altuve as a player even though he has played well below his level this post season. I have a soft spot for great two sackers, like Joe Morgan and going WAY back Eddie Collins. Jackie Robinson and Nellie Fox are also dear to me. I hear Rodgers Hornsby was also pretty good.

But I would find it hard to beleive that anyone but Joe Morgan was the GOAT at second. He was special.

I grew up with Sandberg at 2B and Biggio (after catching early in his career). Roberto Alomar as well. All 3 in the HOF.

Sandberg just had something special for me. Biggio’s grit was fun. Alomar was probably the best pure fielder. But Sandberg was my favorite 2B.
