I'm sure ya'll are impressed that I can spell perspective. This board is filled with passionate gator fans who dearly want our team to succeed. We love this for the team, for the coaches, and for ourselves. We get bragging rights. But sometimes we just don't see eye to eye on things and it can get nasty. I've been there sadly to say. But sometimes it's good to be reminded that this is a game and that there are so many more things in life that are far more important than to get all out of sorts because our team isn't doing what we hope they would do. I've allowed UF football to take far too much control of me that when we lose, it ruins my day, or I'll quickly vent by anger posting and become grouchy for a few days. I think I take it worse than the team, they move on while I'm still distraught over the loss. Perspective. It's a game. I like that it is a bit of distraction from the troubles of this world but it doesn't even come close to comparing with my love for my Savior Jesus Christ, for my wife, my kids, my family members, my church and community. Bottom line, win or lose, good or bad, I'm a gator. I'm grateful for the Mods on here that helps me keep perspective. I'm grateful for Bazza for showing what real perspective is. I'm grateful for all the posters here who truly want the Gators to succeed, but success is more than just on the field, it's character and I believe BN is a character builder and glad he is the coach. I vow to do a better job going forward to keep perspective. Hold me accountable.
Nice soliloquy. Thanks. Um, you made "Gator" lower case. Just a slip or a Freudian slip? We Gators want to know.
