No. The media reports on ideas because controversy and outrage makes them money. That's why the screaming fringes get more airtime than their cockamamie ideas should.

Maybe the skeptics wouldn't accept the election outcome that very minute. But it would significantly defuse the situation by rendering it less relevant. Today's public barely remembers anything more than a week at a time.

So clearly in a league where two thirds of the players are Black, and about 40% of assistant coaches are Black, the fact that less than 10% of head coaches are Black is just random chance and has nothing to do with any racial bias.

Should we push for more whites to play basketball? It’s bias to have more blacks than whites on the team.
    Where is your outrage?

The NBA generally picks the best players to be on the team and if Whites are better players they will be on the team. So you figure this is the case for head coaches too and that Whites just happen to be better head coaches than Blacks? That it's all based on merit?

Agree. That’s the way it works. Unless you have proof that the best black coaches are getting overlooked for mediocre white ones. Seems very uncapitalistic to me.

Well you think 10% Black coaches in a league with 65% Black players is due to merit and that Blacks just aren't as good head coaches as Whites are. And I think it is due to racial bias. Neither of us can prove it, but the numbers are clearly on my side. Either it is merit based, and a much higher percentage of Black assistant coaches just don't have what it takes to be a head coach (your position) or there is some racial bias going on (my position).

The numbers are on my side though. Owners want wins not white buddies.
Wins equal big money. People will hire whomever brings them success.
That’s why America is beautiful…we are color blind esp when it comes to biz.
