What is Whittemore's status?

He is undersized for college QB? But that's not a status. However, it might be an opinion.

 

Would love to know as well…was a huge fan of him from what I saw his freshman year.

 

Is he as fast as Bennett is?

 

It could indicate Trent will be entering the transfer portal to play with his brother somewhere else.

From what I read on another board Trent Whittemore is transferring to Mississippi State after the season. His brother Creed had committed to UF over the summer, but backed off that a few days ago and committed to Miss. State yesterday. Their parents are legacy Gators and have ties to the Spurrier family and Steve, Jr. is the Bulldogs WR coach and passing game coordinator. Maybe undersized make the throws appear high.

 

The Whittemore boys just seem like they would be Billy’s type of players, coaches sons, a bit of a befuddling situation.

 

Creed would probably start at QB this year at UF

 

Guys like it or not the elder Whittemore got recruited over, it happens with staff changes. Trent has made the most of his opportunities this season on the field. A more polished QB knowing how to throw the receiver open instead of waiting for curl route to develop would not only help Trent but the rest of the receiver corps.

Don’t get caught up with the warm fuzzies this is the CEO approach to roster management. Look for more turnover at the conclusion of the season. Football as a business is about to get very real for players on the team. This is what many vocal posters have been clamoring for the last several seasons.

 

Nope, not with AR on the roster. We will be be better off in the future, it will be addition by subtraction

Spurrier didn’t know about Creed committing to Junior so there goes that rumor of him getting ushered out…

I think Trent can play and is underrated athlete. At least that is what I thought last year. I don’t know if he worked on his game but Chakie-Brown and Daejon should not be getting more snaps or touches than him
