Creed will catch a whole lot more balls at MSU than he would at UF. Less high end competition at his position and they throw the ball a whole lot more than UF ever will, at least as long as the Pirate is still coaching there. Seems like a smart decision.
In his interview after his Friday night game, he said he was going to be at our game Saturday so I’m not sure this was planned beforehand. Maybe he wasn’t feeling the love from the coaches during the visit?
Whittmore is good. He would have definitely seen the field here. But we have some pretty dang good players coming in too. Eugene Wilson in particular will be great.
He lives here and his brother goes here. He’ll probably still come to our games unless we stop giving him tickets or he’s visiting somewhere else.
It’s quite strange as he talks in terms of “we” and mentions playing with these new commitments just hours before de-committing and committing to MSU.
If the D can force the other team to punt more then offense can have more possessions and more plays. But naaah.
It’s quite strange that he decommitted from us and committed to MSU within an hour or so if it hadn’t been on his mind before that moment.
You're right of course. That's why it's too early to say stuff like Whittemore would have never seen the field here. It's also to early to say that he was scared off by Eugene Wilson and the other receivers coming in. What we can predict is that based on our needs and on who we do have committed, we should expect to be in a good place in the future.
