So they played over Petty again... Just like they did the first time we did it? This time while his family was on the field being honored... Sorry if I missed a dupe... But really sick of that low rent move and I think Strickland should tell them they can stay home next trip.
The shoe stunt they did was sorta funny, but playing over a tribute is about what I've grown to expect from those hicks.
There’s a thread on the pay side that fell to page two. But yes they suck and should never be allowed back. IMNSHO.
Do we even have a winning record since we started playing that song at home? maybe we should let them play
RUTS for all eternity is the only acceptable response. Unfortunately, we are far from having those capabilities.
I was there last night in Section 59 of the southwest end zone, so not terribly far from them. And, yes, they did. And by reports, they had some water bottles and full beer cans thrown at them - which is unacceptable, even given them showing their butts. It feels like this series has honestly grown to a rather unhealthy level of toxicity compared to earlier years.
What are the rules on band travel? can a band be banned? isn't it up to the traveling school on what they do with their tickets?
Not sure what can lead to a ban. But there are some rules that it looks like UF could point to that would at least lead to a fine: https://a.espncdn.com/sec/media/2021/2021-22 Commissioner's Regulations.pdf
Yes, the lsu band started playing during the song. Yes, we screamed our asses off to drown them out during the next chorus. Yes, the band was pelted with some aerial objects.... that was visible even across the stadium.
Easy. Only allow musical instruments in one section of the stadium. The section occupied by the Pride of The Sunshine.
Similar story when LSU played Auburn this year. You could tell the band wanted to be part of the story and it worked. Two times AU had an injured player down on the field seeking medical treatment and the LSU band was full force. They also played when AU was recognizing 2 AU alums who were Veterans. I love school spirit but they have an agenda to be annoying.
