Our four man rush got completely stifled for the most part yesterday. I guess we scared to bring more as we can’t cover with seven as it is.

Looked like we had a spy out there for Daniels, for good reason, but it didn't work as well as Kentucky's spy worked on us.

 

Burney wasn't effective after he got hurt

 

I actually think burney has improved the last few games.

burney may be a poor tackler in open field, he may struggle in coverage, but if you tell him to run at the qb on a blitz…he’s pretty good.

Diwan Black would’ve probably been a good spy on the if healthy. Super fast and don’t need to know any plays just “follow this guy”

 

Agree with that, but I think he meant during this game, where he got injured early, got treatment and returned but didn't seem to be the same. Didn't even notice he had been back for a while.

Don't mind him, he lives his life on this roller coaster of emotion. He'll be fine in a couple weeks.

 

I mean seriously bro. Like we question why our DBs are playing 10 yards off so much, then LSU hits a bunch of passes over the top and we see its not so black and white. Its hard to understand. We cant just completely grill the coaches on all of this. I'm not an expert but I don't know how much more can be done with this specific group. We look at "talent composition" and say that we should be better, and to an extent maybe thats true but from what I understand talent composition comes from recruiting rankings which we also know is not black and white. I'll leave this to the guys who see them play everyday and at least have faith that when Billy has more info he will be willing to make CEO decisions

 

A nice way of saying our secondary is poo.

 

Not the secondary(other than dean). The front 7 gets no push and when they do they miss the tackle. We just need more talent. This is a very young team. Give Billy a year and you will see a big difference. He inherited a mess!
