I saw that the safety on at least one of those plays never came over to help him out on one long pass completion. The safeties are playing the run and not covering much if at all over the top... which is NUTS!

 

His thumb on throwing hand..my point was just because he may not have looked good in a spring game where he just got to UF...how do we know how he progressed with more knowledge and practice and film studies..we aren't able to really judge yet hasn't played down for us yet..so I will reserve judgement until I actually see him play in a game

 

Florida is last in the country in 3rd down defense. Never seen that before in my life.

I thought this would be a rough year but I expected to see improvement over time. Kind of reminds me of 2005 Florida like the offense was so bad I didn’t think Meyer could cut it but at least the defense played hard.

kind of a flipped script with the offense at least scoring some points but not enough to overcome a historically bad defense. It will be interesting to see how this group of coaches adjusts.
