They also want to be coached, developed, and play in a scheme that is solid.

Gator Nation fled for the exits early tonight. I wonder what the recruits thought of that.

Funny the LSU fans in front of me commented how the fans stayed and how impressive that was.

That is indeed funny. Tons of empty seats when Jason got his interception.

LOL. What about all of the empty seats before the game even starts at stadiums across the country, yet the players still commit. Check out UM's current class when you get a chance. It's all about the Benjamin's these days, my friend.

Shows how fickle some fans are ? Evidently some don't care about fans packing stadiums or if fans leave early..if that makes a difference then fsu and the u wouldn't have any commited recruits right?.. one of my fsu friends posted a photo of their game tonight against Clemson..stadium had lots of empty seats

Worst defense in 40 years. Any recruit who wants it will get plenty of playing time. Billy has to clean out the barn.

    And get a QB transfer.

There's a reason the staff has gone after a TON of secondary players this cycle.... massive upgrade in that room is needed. Anyone know what's going with LB recruiting?

I'm trying to take solace in the fact that everywhere Grantham went, his defenses regressed every year and Toney comes from the same coaching tree as Dave Aranda. Toneys defenses at UL improved every year which shows that players were actually being developed.

The defense will most likely improve and be respectable again but it's going to take time and the roster of poorly developed Grantham players is going to need to be flipped.

i have my doubts now about Toney. The players in D are bad too; how many would crack the 2 deep on our 2015/2016 D?

    Last night was embarrassing

Toney's D improved every year at ULL I'll give him next season to correct this after that we are going to have to re-evaluate

Well he certainly has set the bar very very low so that should hold true.

This aint ULL. We gotta remember that too. Teams arent fallin off a map offensively after this year. I’m not saying to axe him already, im with you on giving him a second year, but the lack of variety on D is alarming no matter how much we can point to lack of top level talent on D

I’m going to spin it that Billy and Toney are intentionally making the defense look horrible so all defensive recruits can see immediate playing time. Playing chess not checkers. Lol

You mean after the fumble that was reversed with like a minute left? Not sure that’s exactly “leaving early”

Given the team was down 3 TD's in the third Q the crowd hung in there very well. Really the only mass exodus was after LSU kicked the FG to go up 10 with less than 2 minutes
