But again-maybe these players from the old staff can't learn or can't get rid of bad habits...I will reserve judgement when this staff has been with our players more than 10 months..if that since they can't work with them over the summer-and when we get those studs that they are recruiting here-hope they all enroll in Jan

Try doing that in the heat of the play, it’s a joke call. Ruined the game, I don’t care if we lost after that…just a bad call
I will say, it was good to see the offense fight to the end, and I think Richardson's run provided some of that spark at the end. I think we have some really good running backs. That is good to see. I think there is plenty of blame to go around on defense. Some are saying it's the players, some are saying coaches. I think (to quote Sterling Archer) "a little column A a little column B" There are still some coaching errors that are discouraging. The would whole two minutes leading up to the end of the half was just mind numbing. Also when the offense was moving the back in the 4th, there was no sense of urgency. Very weird game.
I agree with that. I thought you were joining with the other guy that claimed the game was OVER before halftime because Florida didn't get a FG.
I see them too-Danny had them, Tim had them, Trask had them-however-just some 3 and outs by the defense would have gone a long way
I don't disagree but it's what is expected of the defense to do. The QB will be protected.( Except in the TN game. Young was getting crushed)
No, I was not doing that, but I was unhappy with the direction in the game during the game. The whole world knew this team was a dink and dunk passing team that needed serious pass rushing the whole game. But unfortunately we let off the gas in the second quarter... That was a mistake, IMHO.
I am not even asking for suffocating defense. I'll settle for just good. We are just downright awful on defense right now.
We are just not a very good football team right now. It's on Coach to build one within 3-4 years. Part of me thinks we should be better, but I look back at all the great coaches who slumped in their first year and I'm reminded that you need a little time. But we need to see at minimum an improvement next season. No excuses.
He isn't consistent-and he needs a life coach or something to help him move on and quit getting in a funk if everything isn't going his way-much of his problem is his mental state
He has too many cooks in his "kitchen" making the stew... telling him what to do. It seems... He needs to get rid of all the talking heads in his brain and focus on what Napier is telling him... and Napier's assistant coaches.
Hated to see us keep trying to run up the gut between the tackles. Always good for at least 1-2 yards.
