It appeared there was no 2:00min plan to go down the field and try to score. Almost as if Billy was more concerned about possibly giving the ball back to LSU. Just a strange series.

Disagree 100%. We had plenty of time to at least get into field goal range but he chose to continue to let the clock run when we were in four down territory

Is it possible LSU is pretty good? Their only losses are Game 1 to FSU and UT, who just beat Bama.

 

Napier should be talking to the recruits during halftime and telling them how much we need them. Forget the team.

 

It was 4 th down… wanted to take a shot with no time left . Made perfect sense to me

 

Feels like he reverted back to the AR who believed his NFL 1st round hype. Run with bad intentions or sit on the bench.

It's the difference between Tennessee and us. Tennessee needed less than 21 seconds to setup for the game-winning FG. Napier would have run out the clock and settle it in OT. We just aren't a decent program right now. It's going to be a long climb back up if we ever get back. Tennessee is winning recruits away from us and Kentucky has been too. Kids want to play for a coach who wants to win with 15 seconds left in the game. The fact is Napier ran out the clock to end the half to hopefully regroup. If we tried to be like Tennessee, LSU might be up 14 points going into the half.

 

Cool. This is still his best half of the season.

I do sometimes think Grantham is hacking into our players in ears to continue coaching them.
