I don’t think he chooses the scheme and coverage types. That is on the DC. They seem to have better technique, and that is what Raymond’s job is.
This is game 7 with ZERO improvement. If you can't work with the players you have after 6 games and scheme a single stop against a team who has looked outright bad most of the year, then the scheme is the primary issue. This isn't week 1 or 2.
What I expect is a different defense. Rushing 4 doesn’t work. Do you see the pressure LSU brings at AR and what happens?? Gotta do something different. Defense is regressing The Clock management at the end of the first half what was that?

Gotta agree with this. Majority of the whining is nonsense but clock management certainly questionable.
There was no sense in taking a time out. The only play we had was a hail mary. Miss it with time left on the clock and they get a chance at a hail mary. LSU just burned us for a long pass play, odds are better for their hail Mary attempt versus ours.
Let’s see now. LSU gets the ball in the third quarter. We haven’t stopped their offense all game. We go down by two touchdowns. Game over.
