yes man if we can sure up the OL and LB while adding another DT or two to the mix, im good. Cormani, 2 LB’s, 2 OL’s, and 2 DT’s would be fine with me. We would celebrate that

If we do, the portal will help. I expect we'll be happy with the work they put in to the portal and who we get. Not over emphasized but used to make the team better and get a fe wplayers who can help transition to fully loaded and fully deep team. Maybe an experienced DT, LB, OL, WR, QB ...
Some fyi - per the 247 site, which has a class calculator where you can play with scenarios of who commits and get the projected class score/rating…the difference in points - how much to move from 8th rated to 7th as well as how many points you get from each new commit after having 20+ commits in the class…even if we score the rest of our more likely targets (such as Cormani), it may not even bump us to #7, let lone top 5, and that is with the classes in front of us getting no one. basically, the higher you go in team score and the larger the class you have each new commit seems to be less and less impactful on the overall score. I have no idea about On3 or rivals scenarios but…it is going to be very tough to move to #7 let alone to 5.
Yes, I think we'll be active in the portal too, but we'll have more clarity once folks declare for NFL/transfer, etc
i think that WR, DL, and DB room gonna see attrition something serious to the portal after this season. If i had to guess: Dakota Mitchell Fraziors Burke Pouncey Collier maybe Weston J Young none of them would surprise me
Man, I count only 4 scholarship seniors on the roster. There will be a ton of attrition to even sign a full class, plus a couple transfers. But it has to be done, gotta go to another school and look for playing time. Billy expected many more to leave, but apparently most liked the staff change and going to UF. Of course the ones that didn't put in the work still got the boot. Not sure if it's allowed to take them off scholarship (with NIL). Only Cox leaving for sure, maybe Dexter, Marshall? But there are a ton of super jrs and sophs that won't provide any better depth than a freshman will.
I knew there were only 3 seniors in the two deep, but only 4 on the entire roster, that's incredible. How on earth is that even possible, other than the poor recruiting of the prior crew?
