This sucks. Hope I’m wrong but based on line movements it looks like LSU is the pick of the week. I will never pick against the Gators though. Ark - 500 Ken - 500 NC State - 500
Lotta good football today, folks. In addition to some huge SEC games, I'm interested in MN/IL, NCst/Cuse, Clem/FSU, and SC/Utah. Enjoy the games!
I agree, but is avoiding picking the Gators passively picking against them? Just kidding. A few weeks ago someone said they were picking with their head and not their heart. That is so hard to do.
I find your pick amounts interesting. Almost everyone picks in multiples of 50. Your amounts are more diverse. It's not just this week. Without revealing your trade secrets, do you have a system for choosing how much to wager?
I bet she enjoyed Bloomington. They have one of the nation's best music schools, btw. In the coincidence dept, my buddy who did grad work at IU is hanging tonight for football & whiskey.
Line movements are interesting. But if the results based on line movements were anything more than negligible, I'd be very surprised. Someone would have taken advantage of that and consistently beat vegas.
I bet in units and then divide my available bankroll by the number of betting units. So this week the bets were 3 units and 2 units x2 IIRC.
There are definitely people out there that consistently beat Vegas and their strategies are based on line movements. The difference between them and the avg bettor is that they are very disciplined and only bet on games that meet very stringent criteria. When they bet they bet big and they mitigate the house advantage by not betting 20 games a week.
