Yea he charmed the shirt right off of Lauren Hutton’s back… or so goes the line. What’s even more odd to me was up until 1973 the University of Florida yearbook was called “The Seminole”.

I think we should bring back the cannon in the corner of the endzone to be fired when we get a TD.

Just keep the grass whatever you do. I played a H.S. soccer game on the old turf and I remember wondering how the heck those guys didn't tear up every ligament they had. My feet stuck to that stuff and sank about an 1/8" with every step. E. Smith was not human.

The UF soccer club played a game on the Astroturf of the 70s. Slide tackles gave me rug burns. I also remember the middle of the field being much higher than the sidelines.

In interest of accuracy, the shorts were DOLFIN shorts.

    Signed,
Someone who used to wear them AND could wear them :D

I remember it! Do you remember that the Albert costume had spray nozzles in the nostrils, like in a toy squirt gun?

I just miss the “cup” wars. It was so when you were sitting across the stadium and one you start in the student section. Nobody sued anyone either.

Yes midfield, the center, was so much higher than either sideline that you could only see the heads of those standing on the other side. Drainage reasons I'm sure.
