I wanted to post this story because it weird how stuff comes together. My uncle was an international student from Honduras at UF and graduated back in 1982 with an engineering degree. I think it was ag engineering. Anywho, I lived in Jersey and we went down to Miami to stay with relatives and made the trip to Gainesville for the graduation. Where am I going with this? Well I was a hardcore Mets fan and you know the colors. I liked the NY Knicks as well at the time. All orange and blue. We did the graduation, my memory is foggy, I was 4 at the time. I want to say this was done in football stadium. I just remember how miserable I was from the heat and how bored I was. Now we fast forward to 11/1995, living in Bradenton, got my acceptance letter from UF. They were the last one to come in. I officially became a Gator. This long story just shows maybe it was destined for me to be a fan of the old Orange and Blue. Was never my intention to match the colors to my favorite pro sports teams, but I did. That is pretty neat, if you asks me!
Nothing much to it, got caught with my hand in the cookie jar, so to speak. My 20s were wild. The result was my tires got slashed. It was alright though, the tires were almost bald anyways. Got used tires from a car that was in a wreck. So I was only out 200 bucks. I had and still have AAA so I got towed to the tire place
All makes sense except ...4 years old? Hardcore fan? I was a hardcore fan of my sandbox and my Dinky Cars at 4!
