It takes a man and a woman (not a birthing person) to create a child. Both should have some sort of input. However I do agree that the woman takes on the much larger burden of birth and should be allowed much more input. I also believe that maybe a woman feels like she made a sexual mistake and got an unwanted pregnancy from it. That is also why I believe that any woman should be able to make the unconditional choice on her own within the 15 week window. After that I believe the narrative changes once their is a heartbeat.

please cite any sources claiming it is okay to kill a baby after birth

and many states led by pubs are no abortion at all, let alone up until 15 weeks. If they allowed for the 15 week option a lot of this would be moot

What the hell does "input" even mean? The 'input' is your seed, you could vanish into thin air and it would not matter in the reproductive process after that as far as nature, science or giving birth is concerned.

First of all I never said ABORTION IS MURDER. Second if anyone is predictable it is you. You don't even have the capacity to have a conversation with any sort of open mind. Now that is typical of extreme thought

Your wife is only "fine with it" because what the gov has decided matches what she already wants to do.

Abortion is not only about the mothers body. It is about the child’s body. In fact it is far more about the child’s body.

And that is the part so many want to discount and not discuss.

Ultimately it's her body. So no matter what I think it's her decision.

Simple "input" means that the seed doner as you like to put it helped create the fetus. I would hope that the woman who had a 50% participation in the creating of the fetus would want to at least discuss the situation with the other 50% participant. It is also my opinion the Woman should have the 100% ability to make her own choice on what to do with that fetus. Once a heartbeat is detected it is no longer a fetus but a human life. I believe things change after that and it becomes a little more complicated than to say my uterus my choice.

    Got me.
Also, almost all of my positions on all issues are subject to the "does not apply if an earth killing asteroid impact is imminent." I may forget to put that in, but I acknowledge it undermines the point

I will answer this question. No, I wouldn’t want my wife to make this decision without involving me. It might even end our relationship but it still his her body her choice.

I'd be ok with a 15 week ban with health of the mother exceptions if we also repealed the Hyde Amendment, and allowed for government funding of abortion. 93% of abortions occur in the first trimester already. And the number 1 reason a woman waits to abort into the 2nd trimester is money.

As for me, I wouldn't want my wife to make any decision without me either. But that's us, our relationship, and nobody else should ever have any say. As for other relationships, their mileage may vary, as the saying goes. And it's none of my business who the woman chooses to confide in. I would hope the relationship with the father is strong enough to have the discussion. But I know in many cases, it simply is not. Sad, but true.

You aren't really specifying what input means, and it becomes more confusing since you say a woman should have 100% ability to make her own choice. If its complicated, and I'm not going to disagree, seems like something for people to resolve personally. Not by the intervention of the state.

Is it also your opinion that if men are just seed doners they should have no input in the raising of a child either. I am not trying to be a wise guy here. Your comment made me feel your whole position on the "Family dynamic" is plant your seed and get the hell out of the way. Is that truly how you feel or are you saying I will make all the decisions on the birthing part of the equations and then you can come back into the picture after the birth takes place.
