I guarantee there's way more people than we can imagine still wearing 2 masks and scared to leave their house.

I have a neighbor who, prior to Covid*, was our neighborhood ambassador. When “You could get this and DIE!” started, he vanished and did not leave his house for two years. Even now he only goes to the mailbox and will not even wave. They couldn’t have destroyed him anymore than if they’d outright killed him.

At the risk of pulling the both sides card which I generally hate, there is some level of disinformation and irrationality on both sides. You have one side that denies reality about the seriousness of the disease and consumes ridiculous disinformation regarding vaccinations, and the other side who seems to have little ability to grasp the actual risk, as you often see college age kids outside in masks.

This is what happens when tribal identity and ideology trumps actual facts and knowledge.

So, you don't like his looks... or his moniker? Tilly I never believed in the need to deny people medications during covid-19 and anyone that thought that was okay is in the dark.

I posted an article making a point, if you don't like the point in it then tell me about it.

Glad you are getting closer. But I don’t get the feel you are over it. And you certainly fought for and continue to support what were some of the most damaging decisions made with regards to Covid.

Lol... I don't have anything against NON-MANDATORY mask wearing, you should have known that about me and how I've stated my points about Covid-19 in the past...

People should have to right to a wear masks if they feel it might prevent getting some contagion. That I have never had a problem with. That is NOT the same thing as MANDATORY MASK WEARING.

No one should ever be forced to wear a mask. A Mandatory mask mandate that these politicians have been caught NOT WEARING IN PUBLIC. We've all posted the hypocrisy with mandatory masks and these politicians acting like they live by a different set of laws/rules.

Its a tough balance and involves qualitative judgement. It’s not the same as skin cancer. Most who are compromised cannot live completely by themselves and can’t completely avoid contact with others. They probably live with a family member who is exposed to the outside world.

While there isnt much I don’t like about the politics of Texas, I think we’ve gotten it more right than wrong on Covid although I could have done without the bluster and grandstanding. There were some initial lockdowns when it first happened and nobody knew what to do, but by the summer things opened up a bit and schools opened up the next fall, with modifications for distancing, masking, class size, etc. That probably did cause a modest increase in loss of life, but you have to balance somewhere.

So you think you have the explicit right to carry and exhale disease in indoor settings?

I don’t have an issue with mandatory mask wearing if it is reasonable to think it helps. At the beginning it probably was. At this point the benefits seem much more marginal given how it is typically executed, with people wearing mostly cloth masks and not covering their nose about 50% of the time.

Please... Did you just see how many politicians were caught ON CAMERA without masks on? Once they stopped wearing them that signaled that there was NO DANGER.

And In retrospect only a small 'certain group' of people were ever in any real danger. And those of us, that were moderately to very healthy that caught it, only needed to get medications that the government was purposefully making unavailable for the We The People to get, even with prescriptions by our doctors.

In the end you know this whole Covid-10 plandemic was grossly overblown.

If you haven't figured out the truth about this covid-10 scare by now then you're the perfect sheeple to be told what... when... where to do whatever the government wants you to do.

I agree there is tribal identity.

That said…we have known the facts. This disease was never that dangerous to young and healthy people. And instead of acknowledging this reality. Public health peddled propaganda and scared the mess out of people and emboldened the tribes. Now most of the covidians have recognized the covidiots were right by now (hard for some but the data speaks for itself). But we still have a few who won’t let it go.

There is a reason even a majority of covidians are not getting the bivalent booster or jabbing their children. And only the few…

Pfizer Exec Admits COVID Vaccine Never Tested to Prevent Transmission | Newsmax.com

While speaking to European Parliament on Monday, Janine Small, Pfizer's president of international developed markets, admitted the COVID-19 vaccine was never tested during clinical trials on its ability to prevent the coronavirus's human-to-human transmission.

When asked if the company's product testing covered "stopping the transmission of the virus before it entered the market," Small said, "No ... you know, we had to really move at the speed of science to really understand what is happening in the market."

Small's acknowledgment prompted Rob Roos, a Dutch member of European Parliament, to declare shortly after: "This is scandalous! Millions of people worldwide felt forced to get vaccinated because of the myth that you do it for others."

Last week, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, Florida's surgeon general, cautioned against men, ages 18-39, receiving COVID-19 injections, based on an analysis of data revealing a sharply higher risk of cardiac death in young men — within 28 days of getting the vaccine shot.

Ladapo — who holds multiple medical degrees from Harvard University and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine — apparently stands as the first major public health authority in America to warn the public about the increased risk of myocarditis in young men

And this unicorn conveniently lives right next to you? So credible. I bet your other neighbor died from the vaccine.

I agree with everything your saying here.
I am more speaking of the states that dragged it out.

    Reject anecdotes of shell-shocked neighbors.

Believe anecdotes of young, healthy people struck down by a rogue nanoparticle.

LOL. You still think lockdowns, school closures, masks and vaxxing kids was worthwhile. I can admire someone for sticking to their beliefs even though all of their beliefs have been proven wrong. Good for you. I guess living in fantasy land is enjoyable for you. Now back in the real world...
